Raising The Profile of Foreclosure

BRINGING HOPE HOME
Last Wednesday, February 11, Queen Latifa along with Wyclef Jean and Angie Martinez helped kick off the Bring Hope Home campaign to raise public awareness of the about many avenues that exist for homeowners that are facing foreclosure.
The events of Tuesday started with a tour of Newark, highlighting the fact that foreclosure is effecting every neighborhood of the city, as it effects every neighborhood across the County, the State and the Country.
Following the tour and visits with some homeowners that were helped save their homes foreclosure, a round table was held City Without Walls to further discuss how best to serve those in danger of foreclosure. The forum was opened by statements from Newark Mayor Cory Booker and New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine.
